Western Michigan University among top ten snowiest colleges, according to news outlet

Western Michigan University is ranked number seven in a list of the top 10 snowiest colleges in the U.S., according to a news article.

Sunny skies at Western Michigan University for Wednesday, Jan 21.

Fox News, in an article published on Jan. 21, said that WMU receives close to 67 inches of snow per year. WMU was beat for the title of “snowiest college in the U.S.” by Syracuse University in Syracuse, N.Y., which receives approximately 124 inches of snow fall each year.

Other colleges that made the list include:

University of Rochester (99 inches of snowfall)
University of Buffalo (94 inches of snowfall)
University of Minnesota Duluth (86 inches of snowfall)
University of Vermont (81 inches of snowfall)
Southern New Hampshire University (69 inches of snowfall)
Cornell University (65 inches of snowfall)
Dartmouth College (61 inches of snowfall)
