Week of Weather: Feb. 3-7

The weather brings warmer conditions the week of Feb. 3 to Feb. 7, compared to Michigan’s previous below freezing temperatures, according to weather.gov.

Monday, Feb. 3 will be mostly sunny with a high of 21 degrees and a 5 mph afternoon wind. Monday night will be mostly cloudy, with light wind a low of 6 degrees.

Tuesday brings a 60 percent chance of snow, mostly cloudy skies, and a high around 24 degrees. More snow is predicted for Tuesday night, along with a low of 18 degrees and 9 to 13 mph wind. Weather.gov expects four inches of snow.

The weather brings a 50 percent chance of snow on Wednesday, with cloudy skies and a high around 22 degrees. Chances of snow decreases to 20 percent Wednesday night and temperatures will reach a low of 7 degrees.

A slight chance of snow is predicted on Thursday afternoon, along with a high near 25 degrees. Weather.gov predicts Thursday night will reach a low of 1 degrees and skies will be mostly cloudy.

On Friday afternoon, skies will be sunny with a high around 17 degrees, and the temperatures at night will drop to a low around 7 degrees with a chance of snow.
